The all-new Mule 1000 models don’t just benefit in the speed department, as Kawasaki has made a number of upgrades that make these models even more capable and diverse than they were previously.

These upgrades include:

  • A maximum power increase from 47 HP to 70 HP.
  • A top speed increase of 17 mph for all models.
  • A 27% increase in torque over the 812cc engines.
  • New 8-liter exhaust silencer makes the engine even quieter.
  • A bigger, relocated air intake to help increase air quality.
  • The air filter has been doubled in size, extending the life from 50 to 200 hours.
  • An increase in max ground clearance from around 10 inches to up to 12 or 13 inches by model.
  • Increased front wheel travel from 8.7 inches to 11 inches up front and from 8.5 inches to 10.1 inches in the rear.
  • Upgraded self-leveling rear shocks in the HD and Ranch Edition models.
  • More storage space and extra cup holders for passengers.
