They’ll cost you an arm and a leg, but if you have an arm and a leg to spare, they’re the most well rounded electric 4×4 UTV to date.

But with a battery range of only 20-25 miles, you won’t want to stray too far while out for a drive.

The Polaris Ranger EV has been discontinued as of 2023 to make way for the Ranger XP Kinetic, but you can find plenty of used options available.

Like the gas-powered HISUN utility vehicles, they also come loaded with quite a few accessories that make them more off-road capable out of the box.

A detailed review of the Hisun Sector E1 shows that their battery ranges are a bit overstated, but they still offer a decent range of around 30 miles between charges.

These models are unique in that they’re one of the few electric UTVs to make use of dry cell batteries, which are higher quality and require less maintenance than lead acid batteries.

The Tracker EV iS is 4×4 electric UTV powered by a 72V motor that gets an impressive (for electric UTV standards) 38 HP.

This is a compact two-seater that does well in tight wooded areas and narrow trails, making it a good electric hunting option.

Throw it in 4WD and lock the differential, and in Low gear there’s not a hill it won’t climb or a work task it won’t accomplish.

The range is not all that impressive with this model at around 15 miles tops, and more realistically around 10 miles if driving in 4×4.
